Friends of Schafer and Lake Sylvia State Parks is an all volunteer organization committed to preserving, maintaining and protecting the two local state parks in our area.
We provide outdoor education and interpretive events, trail maintenance, invasive species removal, planting native plants and trees, assisting and supporting the park rangers with special projects, and help to encourage families, locals and visitors to enjoy our parks.

Membership is free, although we happily accept donations to support our efforts. All of our events are family friendly and free to attend.
